With COVID-19 developing quickly across regions, we believe it’s important to share with you what we are doing to respond to the outbreak. For us at emerchantpay, business continuity and the safety of our employees remain our top priorities.

We are closely following advice from the local authorities in each area we operate in across the globe. As the outbreak evolves, we are prepared to re-assess our approach, with operational sustainability and business continuity taking precedence.

Business continuity

emerchantpay will maintain business continuity and has coordinated plans of action to ensure our services will continue as normal with no disruptions. We’ve also set in place contingency plans to ascertain service stability. Our teams are prepared to effectively address any customer-impacting issue. We are amplifying our commitment to transparency and agility and strive to share information and updates rapidly with customers, partners and prospects as the situation develops. Digital streams of revenue, such as contactless, mail and telephone order and eCommerce payments, could offer a lifeline to traditional retailers and our teams will work tirelessly to help facilitate this transition for customers and prospects alike.

Employee safety

In light of the situation, we have applied various measures to protect our communities without affecting the service and support we provide to customers and partners. Business travel has been limited to reduce the risk of infection while restricting travel to countries with widespread contamination risk. Employees with pre-planned business trips or events scheduled within the next two months are receiving assistance to cancel their travel arrangements. We’d like to encourage customers, partners and prospects who have planned to visit an emerchantpay office to coordinate with their host to confirm or postpone their meeting.

A final word

We’d like to remain optimistic that COVID-19 will be contained as soon as possible but will continue to plan for every instance. Our top priority remains to provide you with a high level of service and support. We are constantly monitoring the situation and will adapt our measures as it continues to unfold.
