This is the second year in a row that emerchantpay has been distinguished at the prestigious, global business awards, which acknowledge organisations and teams who help create and drive great places to work.
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve won Stevies® in the following three categories for 2023:

Since starting our journey in 2002, our people have always been the backbone of what we do, with a united passion to help shape the payments industry. Recent changes in the socioeconomic environment have led to significant pivots in the labour market. Despite this, we’ve doubled our headcount to over 500 employees globally, launched a new Cape Town office and further streamlined our process over the last two years.
Other notable achievements during this time include the establishment of a dedicated Talent Acquisition team and new human resources technology. These developments have allowed us to improve the number of applications received for roles as well as increase employee satisfaction. We’re chuffed to see our powerhouse Human Resources team awarded for their unwavering drive and commitment to making emerchantpay the best place to work globally.

Furthermore, the Achievement in Thought Leadership award recognises organisations that have implemented initiatives to help empower their female staff to become thought leaders. It's an absolute honour to be distinguished in the reputable Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, which received more than 1,600 nominations for over 100 categories this year.
Women have been a fundamental part of our workforce, bringing a unique set of skills and thinking. Further refinement of our development plans and strategies has enabled us to increase the impact of our female leaders, cultivating a culture where creative thinking, empathy and continual learning are championed. This is the first time we’ve won a Stevie® Award for Women in Business, topping off what has already been a stellar Stevie® award season for emerchantpay.
